Texas A & M Student Retailing Association

On Oct. 20th 2009, Courtney Graf, Region 4 Staffing Assistant presented to the Texas A & M Student Retailing Association. There were approx. 40 students in attendance to hear her give advice about "Transitioning from college to career". As an Texas A & M alumna, she was right in her element and a great source of knowledge for the students!

Final Interview Event

On Friday November 6th and Monday November 9th the Corporate University Relations team invited over 200 of the best students from across the country to our Corporate Office for our final interview event. The day was filled with executive presentations giving the students an insiders perspective of Kohl's. In addition, each student participated in a series of three interviews and was given the opportunity to network not only with Kohl's executives but also with other students in attendance.

Texas State Etiquette Dinner

On Oct. 14th Kohl's Department Stores helped sponsor the 12th Annual Texas State American Marketing Association Etiquette Dinner. There were approximately 150 students in attendance. Rana Davis, Staffing Recruiter- Region 4 and Mellisa Liegl, University Relations Manager represented Kohl's at this fantastic event.

Texas State - Careers in Retail

On October 22 Kohl's was featured as the only employer at Texas State Career Services, Careers in Retail Day. We had a variety of Kohl's executives who spoke about their own retail journey and shared their own reasons why retail is a career to consider. Those who were in attendance from Kohl's were Jim Batterson-RVP Region 4, Scott Walters Regional Director Region 4, Paul Ferrante Regional Staffing Manager Region 4, Angela Bangert SM 509, Rachel Bennett HROPS Store 510, Felipe Resendez CFH 1280 and Erin Delgadillo former intern 2009, MIT 2010.

University Of North Texas Etiquette Dinner

On October 14th Kohl's was one of the sponsors for UNT Career Services Etiquette dinner. Approximately 150 students attended from various majors and student organizations. Kohl's donated a gift basket for one student winner, containing a $50 Kohl's gift card, green bag and various goodies. Courtney Graf, Staffing Assistant for Region 4 was in attendance on behalf of Kohl's.
