Washington State University - Career Networking, Career Fair and Dress For Success Fashion Show

Kohl's Department Stores attended Washington State University's Career Networking, Career Fair and Dress For Success Fashion Show. The Business Inter Council Committee & Career Center partnered with Kohl’s to plan and market the event. The audience was comprised of faculty members as well as students.

Kicking off the two-day festivities at Washington State Univeristy, Kohl's District Manager, Linda Heinen presented “You are What You Wear Workshop” to a group of students. That evening, Linda and Store Manager Gabe Galbraith attended a networking night at the Business Center. There, Linda presented and both she and Gabe discussed career options with more than 200 students. At the event, Kohl's took in more than 40 resumes.

The following morning, the Kohl's team attended the School Career Fair. Linda, Gabe and Assistant Store Manager Drew Anderson got to know students and took in another 150 resumes.

That evening Linda made another presentation to a group of more than 100 students about “Dress for Success”. The students had a fashion show and the Kohl's team talked to more students and taught them how to tie a tie.

“The professionalism of the faculty and students is amazing. It is a privilege to come to campus and find out future leaders,” said Gabe Galbraith.
