University of Arizona - Classroom Presentations, Career Immersion Networking and Career Services Visit

From January 26th to 28th, Kohl’s participated in a series of different activities on campus at University of Arizona. Kohl's attendees included Territory Vice President HR – Larry Viands, UR Manager Courtney Graf, Campus Manager Vanessa Vigil and Campus Ambassador Kelsey Achtzehn.

In total, Larry Viands presented in four classrooms and Courtney Graf presented in one – reaching more than 400 students in the Eller College of Business and Lundgren Retailing school! Campus Ambassador Kelsey Achtzehn assisted in promoting MIT/Intern opportunities in various classrooms.

In addition to classroom presentations, the group attended a Career Immersion networking event with more than 20 employers and 200 students, conducted a business meeting with career services and hosted a future MIT/Intern networking luncheon for current University of Arizona hires!

As a result of the events on campus, Kohl's received multiple resumes of interested students and increased our visibility at Career Fair!

“Thank you for the very informative meeting last week with our team. We are very lucky to have Kohl’s as an active employer on our campus and we hope to continue to build our relationship specifically with our college. I will definitely keep you up to date with any events we have going on in which you can get in front of our students," said a member of Eller College of Business Career Services.

University of Georgia Career Fair

The UGA career fair was a success! A range of students visited the Kohl's table from management and fashion merchandising majors to biology and English majors.

We also had quite a few eager sophomores getting information about our Internship program. While they were unable to apply as sophomores, they seemed to have interest and were excited about the future opportunity.

Students were responsive to hearing personal stories of graduating and transitioning into retail management with Kohl’s through the MIT program.

Kohl's attendees included:
Kersonder Williams, SM/Campus Manager Store 452
Lauren Fylstra, CFH ASM Store 451
Nicole Dushman, CFH ASM Store 1123
Andrew Barnhardt, HR/OPS ASM Store 445
